Take Control Of Your Online Reputation

Are you looking for ways to grow your business using the internet? Then you are in perfect place. In this post I’m going to show you exactly what we do for our clients to help them control their online reputation.

As you know Online Reputation is one of the most important factors when it comes to growing your business and branding yourself online. People are checking reviews, and you need to be sure that you are positioned properly online with reviews, and a good reputation in order to win their trust and eventually win their business.

Branded Online Reputation Site

I’ll show you exactly what it is that we do for our clients when we set up a branded online reputation site, or review engine as we sometimes call it,  to help them grow their online reputation.

On one of my client’s websites you will notice that there is a tab near the top of the website called Our Reputation, If I click on that tab it comes to a page that says “Our Reputation,” and the review engine that we set up for them is embedded on the site as well as on the side bar.

Anywhere you go throughout the website the Online Reputation Site is embedded in the side bar near the top where people can see your Reputation right away.

This review site scrolls down, and people can read the many reviews that this company has from their happy customers. This Review Engine is practically another website that is hosted and maintained somewhere else. We’ve embedded it in our clients website?

So let’s go visit the Online Reputation Site itself.

It is branded for our client, it look’s exactly like their company, has the name, address, Phone number, of the business here.

If somebody wants to leave a review, then the first step is to choose how many stars.

Now the power of this review, is the fact that if somebody chooses less than 3 stars it gives you a little more control over your reputation.

For example, let’s say someone chooses 1 star.

Then if you scroll down you’ll see that they’ve chosen 1 star and the title of the review is “disappointed” or “missed the bar,” and the question below is “How could we have better served you?”

So it prompts the user to put into description box what they’re not happy with, and there is a question below “Would you like a follow up call?” Then a chance to give their phone number so that you can follow up with them and make it right, if possible.

Then when they click submit review the description that they typed in does not get published in the public feed of all the reviews, but the rating is averaged in with the rest of the stars.

So this particular company has 29 ratings and only 27 reviews, that means 29 people have left ratings, and 27 people’s reviews got published which leaves them with a 4.7 star reputation, (which is basically a 5 star reputation.) It’s more accurate because it shows that there were a couple people who were either unhappy, or some competitor that was trying to damage this company’s reputation.

In other words, the review engine gives people a chance to honestly share their feelings while at the same time giving you a chance to follow up with them and make sure things are right.

SEO Optimized

This branded review engine is SEO optimized or Search Engine Optimized.

I have my review engine embedded in my personal website and Google sees that. Therefore if you search in Google for the title of one of my blog posts, you can see my blog post right there with a 5 star rating.

Google gives these 5 little orange stars to my search result because I have the review engine embedded in my website. Also whenever somebody is searching for one of my clients online, often the review engine also ranks really well.  So the website ranks well, and the review engine also ranks.

While people search online for your company you can get a double whammy in SEO,  so-to-speak. You can have your website show up as well as the online reputation site – plus those 5 orange stars. It is a very good way to market and grow your company on the internet.
